  • Dr. Beth Anderson

    O.D

    Dr. Beth Anderson grew up in the Dallas Area graduating from Bishop Lynch High School. She became interested in Optometry after seeing a special program on preventable blindness throughout the world. Having a high prescription herself, she could empathize how difficult life would be without vision correction. She has since traveled to Honduras for a medical mission trip providing eyecare for those most in need. Dr. Anderson graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Tech University and Summa Cum Laude at the University of Houston College of Optometry, at which she served as commencement speaker for the graduating class. She then went on to practice at a major surgical center in Southlake Texas prior to opening Wylie Eye Center in 2009.

  • Suzanne Ferenczhalmy

    O.D

    Dr. Suzanne Ferenczhalmy grew up in Muskegon, Michigan. She earned a Bachelors of Business Administration from Grand Valley State University. After working as an optician for several years she grew to love optometry and attended the Illinois College of Optometry. Upon graduation Dr. Suzi served six years in the United States Air Force, serving at the Pentagon and Andrews Air Force Base. During that time she had a special assignment as the White House optometrist for the George W. Bush administration.

  • Lindsay Denton

    Dr.

    Dr. Lindsay Denton grew up in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. She spent her under-graduate years at Birmingham Southern College, then attended the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating alongside our own Dr. Anderson! She was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and served as AOSA president. She earned a prestigious scholarship from the United States Air Force, and served 3 years as an Optometry Element Leader assigned to Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo, Texas. She has since lived in Japan and recently practiced in Minnesota. She joined Wylie Eye Center in the fall of 2015.

  • Ethan Royster

    Dr.

    Dr. Royster is a Wylie local and graduated from Wylie High School. He developed an early interest in Optometry, having a great-grandmother who was blind and a family history of other eye diseases. Dr. Royster himself required glasses at an early age due to being highly nearsighted. These factors led him to go to Texas A&M University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biomedical Sciences. During his time at A&M he was a member of the Aggie Optometry Association and worked as an optometric technician. After graduating from A&M, Dr. Royster went to the University of Houston College of Optometry, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. While at UHCO, he was awarded a Clinical Letter of Excellence and the Optelec Low Vision Award for his services in the Center for Sight Enhancement. Dr. Royster also completed clinical rotations with the Houston VA and Space Center Eye Associates where he became experienced and interested in managing ocular disease. Additionally, Dr. Royster is highly trained in fitting specialty contact lenses, pediatrics, and low vision.

  • Cole Vilhauer

    O.D

    Dr. Cole Vilhauer was born and raised in Frisco, Texas. Growing up he always wanted to be a doctor. In elementary school, he received his first pair of glasses. Which was an eye-opening experience that would impact the rest of his life. After talking and working with his local optometrist in Frisco, whom he saw regularly for his significant nearsightedness, he decided that optometry was the profession that was meant for him. He attended Texas Tech University where he graduated with Honors and a Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science. During his undergraduate years in Lubbock he worked for a local ophthalmologist and optometrist, gaining invaluable experience that solidified his career choice. He was also highly active in the Phi Kappa Psi gentlemen's fraternity and the Honors college. Dr. Vilhauer then attended and graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry, fulfilling his long sought-after goal. During his tenure at UHCO Dr. Vilhauer was heavily involved in the Texas Optometry Association and in supporting optometry legislation in Texas. Which he also plans to continue throughout his career. He also completed clinical rotations at a private group practice in Houston practicing full scope family optometry and at Northeastern State University College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, where he served the Cherokee Nation population and was exposed to a high level of ocular pathology. Dr. Vilhauer’s primary interest is in general family practice, as he really enjoys developing a good relationship with his patients and addressing all of their concerns. He is also proficient in fitting specialty contact lenses and treating ocular disease.

  • Tekarra Humphreys

    O.D

    Dr. Tekarra Humphreys was raised in the Dallas area and received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Texas Woman’s University. She worked as a vision therapist at an optometry practice and fell in love with helping children and adults by improving their vision. Dr. Humphreys graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry with several awards for her commitment and passion for pediatrics and vision therapy. She also gained extensive experience in ocular disease and low vision. Dr. Humphreys loves caring for infants and people with special needs.
